Joined Daizen in 2011
Leonard oversees a crucial step in the preparation of timbers prior to staining; he sands or brushes the wood to make the most of the grain in the final product.
When Leonard began working at Daizen in 2011 he had no timber framing or log building experience. However, over the past three years he has worked with and learned from the knowledgeable team at Daizen to appropriately “dress” the timber.
Leonard describes himself as artistic and says his role suits his personality. His motto for life and for work is to do his best and not take things personally.
