Conny Poepsel is responsible for detailed work in the final phase of production at Daizen, as she oversees all finishing on projects as well as staining.
Originally from Germany, Conny has more than a decade’s worth of experience in this area. Prior to her work as a finisher, she spent several years as a computer programmer, but a desire to have a more active job drew her to wood finishing. “I get paid for my workout,” she says. Conny is an expert at creating custom finish. She has developed a comprehensive database for stain mixing that provides Daizen customers unique finishes to choose from.
In Conny’s view, the opportunities to create one-of-a-kind timber frame projects are endless.
